Butt Lift

As a truly non-surgical procedure, the Flawless Butt Lift has revolutionized the way butt lift procedures are performed throughout Los Angeles and Beverly Hills and across the nation. This is a great option for those who desire a fuller and shapelier buttocks enhancement but have been unable to achieve it because there is not enough fat.

Sculptra is a dermal filler approved by the FDA since 2004. Its unique quality of stimulating the body’s own collagen can provide an improved lift, appearance, and plumpness. Sculptra has been used by doctors in both the United States and abroad. Recently doctors have discovered uses for Sculptra beyond the face and, in fact, use it to rejuvenate a major part of the lower half of the body with a non-invasive butt lift. Sculptra ultimately restores the youthful contours by providing a significant increase in both volume and skin thickness.

Strategically creating collagen in specific areas allows us to sculpt the buttocks and hips; correcting hollows, improving stretch marks, minimizing cellulite, and highlighting your natural contours.

Sculptra has a cult following of celebrities and models alike wishing to augment the buttocks and hips. It is the go-to treatment for anyone that wants to create killer curves and that hourglass silhouette without painful and invasive surgery.

Although the results are achieved gradually, the changes improve over time with repeated treatment. The effects of Sculptra will build up over the course of each treatment, providing a natural and undetectable improvement in the desired area(s). Now you can create more projection, volume, and a subtle lift in as little as a few months.

The Week Prior: Avoid ‘Blood Thinners’

To minimize bruising and/or swelling avoid the use of:
  • Aspirin
  • Ibuprofen
  • Vitamin E
  • Fish Oil Supplements
  • Any over the counter supplements that thin the blood
  • If in doubt regarding prescription medication, consult with your physician
  • Tylenol may safely be used during this time

Like all injections, temporary swelling and bruising may occur. Bruising tends to happen in the treatment area and can take up to two weeks to resolve itself. To help avoid this we recommend you start taking Arnica Montana as well as avoiding aspirin, ibuprofen, and fish oils a week or two prior to injection.

After your Sculptra session, patients may have some soreness and mild discomfort that can be alleviated with Tylenol. Immediately after your treatment, you will see a sneak peak of the end result; however what you are seeing is just the sterile water that we use to mix the Sculptra into an injectable form. Your body then absorbs this sterile water solution in 24-48 hours leaving behind strategically placed particles of Sculptra, and then the magic happens. Your body’s natural response to the Sculptra is to encapsulate it with biospheres of your own fresh, young collagen.

What to expect

You will not notice the results immediately, so it is not instant gratification. The process of creating volume takes about 6 months in its entirety, however, early results can be seen in as little as 8 weeks. Over the course of your treatments, you will notice gradual correction and improvement of your contours. Following each injection, you will need to perform post procedure massage. This process will help to accelerate the results, as well as ensure the area is smooth. Melanie will show you how to perform this massage at home.

Do Sculptra Butt Injections Work?

It certainly does. It can increase volume in the buttocks by stimulating collagen. It requires multiple vials. The best candidates are ones that have no fat to harvest, don’t want the downtime of surgery, or want mild improvements. Collagen created lasts up to 7 years so the correction should last several years. There is essentially no downtime with this procedure vs surgery where most surgeons don’t even recommend sitting after fat grafts for about a month.

What is Sculptra?

Sculptra is an FDA-approved dermal filler which uses a sophisticated formula to replace lost collagen. You’ll often see Sculptra advertised as a way to tighten the skin in your face, but it can work for your butt as well. The reason skin sags is because the element that gives skin its plumpness, collagen, is lost as we age. Dermal fillers like Sculptra work by replacing this lost collagen and giving the skin its bounce back.

When applied to the butt, Sculptra can work to tighten the skin in the rear and lift the butt without the use of invasive procedures such as a Brazilian butt lift. You’ll begin to notice results virtually right away, but true results won’t be seen until after a few months.

How Is A Sculptra Butt Lift Different From A Brazilian Butt Lift?

Perhaps the most striking difference between the Sculptra Butt Lift and the Brazilian Butt Lift is that Sculptra is a non-surgical procedure and there is no downtime involved. Flawless Butt Lift requires only simple and painless injections under the skin during a quick 30-minute treatment. It is a great alternative to the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure for leaner patients that don’t have quite enough extra fat to transfer. Sculptra works over time, gradually thickening the skin up to four times, thereby adding a visible volume increasing effect to the buttocks area.

Since the early 2010s, there has perhaps been no procedure that has grown at the phenomenal rate of the Brazilian Butt Lift, largely due to Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Beyoncé and JLo. The fact that this procedure emulates the Brazilian Butt Lift for leaner patients should, perhaps, not be surprising.

What is the Procedure Like?

Using Sculptra for your butt is the same basic procedure as using it for your face, just in a different location. The first step is deciding exactly where your fillers will be placed. This is something you’ll talk with Melanie about during your consultation. Once the injection sites are created, you’ll be given a numbing agent on your rear to keep pain to a minimum. Most patients describe the pain felt during this procedure as a slight pinprick.

How is Sculptra Injected?

Sculptra comes as a powder that is mixed with sterile water that allows it to be injected. This must be done about a week prior to treatment to ensure proper hydration of the material and accurate dispersion of the product.
